The latest Libre Office is more file compatible and co-exists perfectly with MS Office than ever.

This new version added much stronger Python macro scripting facilities than the earlier versions.

Libre Office's built-in Python is much more powerful and productive than MS Office's Visual Basic for Applications.

As well, you can freely distribute Libre Office on any appliances, workstations or servers without being limited by MS Office licenses.

ECL has switched our default tool from MS Office to Libre Office to develop new embedded RPA (Robotic Process Automation) applications for our customers.
